Brand Identity

PROJECT: Nebula Artistry Branding FORM: Branding Kit, Complete Identity SOFTWARE: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign DESCRIPTION: Nebula Artistry is a leading designer in screen printed garments and gift items. They are passionate in the pursuit of excellence, integrity and commitment. In this way, they are more than a company and bigger than themselves. They are offering the capture of a moment;a memory of a shared experience with loved ones. I choose to use brain waves and high frequency colours to illustrate the phenomenal nature of Nebula Artistry products and company. This theme accurately portrays the cerebral qualities of the brand. The art is supposed to exist but not overshadow the gift items, it is meant to contrast and complement yet relate to the services/products offered. It relates to the experience of purchasing and using as well as gifting the product. It is included in the portfolio as it’s always beneficial in include identities. Everyone needs one and they are the basis of any designed composition. The design represents the client as its on the same frequencies as they would be—purple is the colour of the crown chakra, higher archers—art and beauty. The designs are a great reflection of our artistic, beautiful client. I am proud of the colours, they are very beautiful and intellectually stimulating. There is good counter form within the logo elements and the purple appeals to both sexes easily and the purple also conveys the feeling of a royalty-prestige product. I repeated the logo elements into the graphic style of the piece, this way, our logo is more recognizable and simplistic.

My current identity fails to captivate, it fails to communicate anything about me or my design and it does not tell any story. I need a new identity not simply a logo. I need a way to present myself to potential clients and stakeholders. I find my identity amidst my myriad of interests and hobbies. I paint, build cosplay weapons and outfits, collect data and chart information(patterns) and I build 3d shapes. I am constantly journalling and researching information, I will brand myself as “The Scientist.” My process files are too many to name, i have had so many resources and research items over the years as this has been(and will be) an ongoing project. The design represents me fully for the reasons above. I am extremely proud of the perfection/simplicity of the identity. The four dots not only represents the ordering and alignment and complex balls of information, it represents Plato’s quadrivium and four liberal arts: number(arithmetic), number in time(music), number in space(geometry) and number in space-time (astronomy). This represents where I have arrived with my personal interests and lifelong research and idea development.
